Hi! Thank you for taking a moment to learn about what I do and how I can help you.
My approach is informed by over 14 years of experience in community mental health and psychotherapy. I primarily draw from trauma-responsive practices, including mindfulness, cognitive processing, somatic therapy, emotional regulation strategies, and psychodynamic theory. Together, we work to understand the roots of your pain, create meaningful change, and help you move toward a healthier, more authentic version of yourself.
My areas of focus include anxiety and depression, relationship issues, life transitions, body image, hormonal changes, and identity. An essential part of my work is helping people sustain the motivation to change while reconnecting with the inner resources, strengths, and wisdom they may have lost touch with along the way.
I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. I have also worked as a Behavioral Health Director at a community clinic in Los Angeles and as a Mindfulness Meditation facilitator in both private and public settings, working with individuals and groups.
I believe therapy can be both meaningful and human. I bring warmth, lightness, and, when appropriate, a little spontaneity into the therapeutic process. I find that humor and genuine connection can create a sense of ease and safety, making it possible to explore difficult things without losing sight of the person behind the pain.
Most importantly, I believe that therapy is a collaborative process. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported as you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and move toward the life you want.
I provide in-person and online psychotherapy in English and Spanish to individuals, couples, and families.

Hay cosas que simplemente no se pueden traducir. Como mujer latina inmigrante nacida en Peru, entiendo y valoro la importancia de hacer este trabajo personal y profundo en nuestro idioma y con personas que puedan captar los matices culturales.
I relate to my clients openly and at a gentle, slow, and steady pace, creating space to pause, reflect, and truly listen to what is happening within.
Slowing things down allows us to see more clearly the stories, values, and beliefs that shape our inner world—and to understand how they influence the way we relate to ourselves, others, and our lives.
Together, we make room for profound awareness.
From this place, change can unfold in a way that feels grounded, sustainable, and authentic to you.
I bring a mindful presence to my work, modeling curiosity, openness, and awareness while helping clients become more attuned to their inner experience.
I co-create a comfortable, genuine space where all parts of you can be seen, heard, understood, and challenged. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for developing a healthier relationship with yourself and others.
I offer a free consultation so we can get to know each other and see if we’re a good fit. If it feels right, I look forward to supporting you toward deeper meaning, less suffering, and more fulfilling relationships.
